Product placement aside, director Jonas Åkerlund has captured on film what’s so strange about Femme Fatale, Spears’s third “comeback” album: it finds one of the most notoriously off-the-rails artists in pop music, in the midst of high-tech, often bizarre production, playing Britney from the block, looking for a good time.
